Two people, one kiln, no factory
Everything in the shop is made in a converted garage behind the house. Pots are thrown on Mondays and Tuesdays, glazed on Wednesday, and fired at the weekend when the electricity is cheaper. Nothing is drop-shipped and nothing is bought in.
Which is why the mugs are not identical, and why an order sometimes takes a week: if a piece comes out of the kiln wrong it does not get sent, it gets remade.

What turns up in the inbox
Bought one mug to try and came back for four more. They are heavier than they look in the photos, in a good way, and the glaze is different on every one.

Speckled mugs, x5
Ordered a wall hanging as a wedding present nine days before the wedding. It arrived on the Thursday, wrapped well enough that I did not need to rewrap it.

The candle actually smells like cedar rather than like a candle shop, and it burned the whole way to the edge. Second one is already lit.

Made in small batches, so stock moves
What is on the shop page is what is on the shelf. When a piece sells out it takes about three weeks to come back, and the newsletter says when it has.
