A small shop that means it
We make a limited number of things and we make them properly. There is no warehouse, no third party fulfilment and no algorithm deciding what to stock: if it is on the shop page, one of us made it and put it on the shelf.
That has consequences you should know about before you order. Batches are small and things sell out. A commission takes weeks, not days. And every piece is a little different from the last one, which is either the reason you are here or a reason to buy a set from a chain instead.

How it is made
Clay, wax, wool, and a lot of waiting
A mug is thrown in ten minutes and then takes three weeks: a week to dry, a first firing, glazing by hand, a second firing to 1,240 degrees, and a day to cool before the kiln can be opened.
About one piece in ten does not survive that. Those go on the seconds table at the market rather than into a box, which is the honest version of quality control.
